The fellow will be able to learn to appreciate and perform echocardiograms for simple and complex heart disease. You will be able to observe cardiac catheterisation and attend the weekly cardiac and cardiothoracic conference where case presentations are discussed. This includes post cardiac catherisation cases and pre operative cases. There will also be topical presentations as ongoing continuing medical education.

The fellow will help in the daily ward care of cardiac patients, outpatient evaluation and follow up, pre-operative workup and peri-operative care of cardiosurgical patients.
