Programme in
General and Ambulatory Medicine
(GAP)
The GAP Fellow will have the opportunity for rotation through most subspecialties, including the
Department of Neonatology
and the
Children's Emergency
depending on interest, ability and service needs. The GAP fellow will be given exposure to ambulatory clinics, subspecialty and multi-disciplinary clinics.
3 Year Posting
1 year of compulsory postings comprising of 2 months of
Gastroenterology
,
Neurology
,
Respiratory Medicine
,
Critical Care
and 1 month of
Endocrinology
,
Nephrology
,
Cardiology
, and
Haematology / Oncology
.
6 months
Neonatology
6 months
Children's Emergency
3 months elective* and 9 months of
General and Ambulatory Paediatrics
*
Elective postings can include postings to Paediatric Community Services e.g. School Health Service, Child Guidance Clinic, Child Development Unit or any elected subspecialty rotation.
2 Year Posting
1 year of compulsory postings comprising of 2 months of
