The Antenatal Monitoring Clinic (AMC) is a one-stop facility for the assessment of the foetus in the early stages of a woman's pregnancy.

Screening for Thalassemia
Screening for thalassemia, the most common inheritable blood disorder, is also available at the AMC. Couples who are thalassemia carriers will be given information regarding the risks of the pregnancy being affected with thalassemia and the risks and limitations of the tests for prenatal diagnosis. |
