The Ronald McDonald Family Room (RMFR) provides respite for parents whose children are being hospitalised at KK Women's and Children's Hospital. This is a special facility where parents of paediatric patients can stay or rest in, as they tend to their sick child in the hospital.
Located on Level 4 Women's Tower, the Ronald McDonald Family Room provides basic amenities for a comfortable stay. It has 12 bedrooms, a dining room, a pantry, 'quiet rooms', a library, a children's playroom, a TV lounge and an internet corner.
The Ronald McDonald Family Room is an extension of the Ronald McDonald Children's Charity set up in 1989 to help sick children from needy families. |
