The Urogynaecology Centre (The Centre for Advanced Pelvic Floor Reconstruction and Bladder Dysfunction) is a one-stop centre for the clinical assessment and treatment of female urinary problems and pelvic floor disorders.

Basement 1, Women's Tower

The Centre is run by a team of experienced urogynaecologists and nurses trained in urogynaecology. Our staff attend to 80% of all urogynaecological cases in Singapore.

A national referral centre for women with urogynaecological problems, it is also a regional training centre for doctors from the region.

The Urogynaecology Centre caters to all problems women may have related to their bladder, namely:

Urinary incontinence
Problems with urination
Vaginal/pelvic organ prolapse
Recurrent urinary infection

Women should not expect to suffer from these problems as they grow older. In fact, these problems are treatable. Our goal is to provide patients with diagnostic and therapeutic options tailored to their problems. The first of its kind in the Asia Pacific region, the Centre provides:

The full range of urodynamics tests
Consultation with the consultant urogynaecologist
Urogynaecological and pelvic floor reconstructive surgeries including tension-free vaginal tape (the latest treatment for stress urinary incontinence) and
Sacrocolpopexy, sacrohysteropexy, sacrospinous hysteropexy and sacrospinous ligament fixation (the treatment for severe uterine prolapse or vault prolapse).

Patients who suffer from urinary dysfunction and / or pelvic floor disorders can turn to the Urogynaecological hotline (tel: 6394 2121) for advice from our experienced nurses.

Public Forums

The Centre organises English and Mandarin public forums yearly to educate the public on common urogynaecological problems and their management.
