- Diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries
Through modification in training regime, correction of biomechanical errors, physical therapies and reconditioning, our sports physicians, physiotherapists and fitness specialists help female and junior athletes with acute or chronic overuse injuries to return to sports participation as soon as possible. If surgery is necessary, our sports orthopaedic surgeons will utilize most current techniques to aid the recovery process.
- Diagnosis and treatment of medical problems affecting sports and exercise performance
Exercising individuals may also encounter common medical problems that may affect their sports performance. For example, exercise induced asthma, overweight or underweight concerns, menstrual irregularity etc. Our sports physicians will work collaboratively with the respective medical specialists to offer seamless and sports focused medical care.
- Management of sports and physical performance issues
Our sports physicians and dietitians can also help you address other performance related issues such as strength and conditioning, dietary and hydration strategies in sports, use of supplements for performance enhancement etc.
- Pre-participation medical evaluation
A medical assessment before sports or exercise participation helps to identify conditions that may predispose one to injury during sports or exercise. Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial to avoid or reduce potential injuries and complications.
- Fitness Assessment and Exercise Prescription
Women and children who are healthy or with chronic disease can benefit from proper exercise training. Through a baseline fitness assessment, our sports physicians can help you design a safe exercise programme to fulfill your fitness or health goals. Exercise programmes will be carried out in a fully equipped gym and supervised by our physiotherapists or fitness trainers.
