Laboratory
The KKH Laboratory has been an ISO accredited Laboratory for Medical Laboratory Testing since 2003. With a team of about 100 highly trained staff, including histopathologists, clinical pathologists (microbiology) and scientific officers, the department offers comprehensive and reliable diagnostic service.
The Laboratory is fully computerised and linked to the Hospital Information System where doctors are able to view and share the results with patients at the clinics or wards in a timely manner.
The department is also accredited by the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia for the training of Anatomical Pathology and Microbiology.
