Play is an essential part of a child’s development. For hospitalised children, play activities can help ease anxiety or fear during their stay in hospital.

Volunteers can help to assist play sessions in the wards or in the Play Centre (play room). This room provides a safe environment for children away from medical procedures where they can engage in play with other children, family members and volunteers.
