Event:Circle of Security Parenting Group (5th Run)

Registration Fee:

Single Participant: $256.80 (private) / $128.40 (subsidised) for 6 sessions

Synopsis:

A six weeks Parent Group Programme for parents with children between 2 to 5 years old.

Circle of Security (COS) Parenting is an internationally recognised evidence based program designed to enhance the bond and sense of security for parent and child in their relationship.
This group aims to:

  • Provide a roadmap to understand their child's behaviour and needs
  • Invite parents to reflect on their own experiences of being parented and how it impacts on their parenting
  • Provide a safe environment where parents can identify their strengths and struggles and benefit from sharing with other parents in the group

The forum comprises a mix of talks and workshops, that cover a range of topics to impart key fundamental parenting knowledge and to equip new parents/ parents-to-be with essential parenting skills.

Audience:Breastfed Babies aged 3months to 18Months
Synopsis:

Mark your calendars on 5 August 2017 and join us at United Square for the KKH’s Healthy Breastfed Baby Contest 201.

Take part and support other advocate breastfeeding mothers in our SG Mass Latch On, where we stand together to normalize latching in public places. Also there will be a short work out session with your babies and us!

Join us in crowning of our KKH’s Healthy Breastfed Baby 2017 and cast a vote for the Most Popular Baby 2017.

Also, stand a chance to win fantastic prizes when you participate in our exciting stage activities. Just for you and your family!

A workshop specially tailored for parents with weaning babies aged after 6 months of age. Our Dietician and Speech Language Therapist will share with participants essential information on baby's feeding progression, nutrition and weaning. A cooking demonstration will show ways to prepare your baby's food.

Workshops will focus on clinical approaches to various common skin rashes and skin lesions in children, with emphasis on differential diagnoses, evaluation and management of these various conditions. Get updates on the latest classification, nomenclature, radiological and pathological findings, and management of the various vascular tumours and malformations.

However, sometimes it can be stressful if he seems to be a picky eater and refuses the food you offer him. Meal times may be struggle for both yourself and your child, with many worries regarding whether he is eating enough for his growth and development, as well as his acceptance of different taste and textures.
