If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please do so at least three working days before the scheduled appointment. This will help another patient waiting for medical attention to get an earlier appointment.

Q. How do I prepare for my appointment?
- If you have been requested to perform any tests or scans, please complete them before your appointment.
- If you are required to fast before your appointment, please follow the specific instructions that were shared with you.
- If you need help, please call the Clinic Enquiries Hotline: 6294 4050 during office hours.
Q. What do I bring for my first appointment?
A. Please bring along your:
- Identification documents
• NRIC/Birth Certificate (for children under 15 years old)
• Entry/ Re-entry Permit / Employment Pass / Dependent Pass / Work Pass / Student Pass / Visit Pass or any other identity document of your nationality
- Referral letter from your family doctor / polyclinic, if any
- Your child’s immunisation booklet, for immunisation visits
- Any prior medical reports / results, investigation results and images relevant to your medical condition
- Baby Bonus / Pioneer Generation (PG) / Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) cards (if any)
- Medical Benefits Card / Hospitalisation Identity Card (HIC) if your employer has signed an agreement/ letter of guarantee (LOG) with KKH
- Letter of guarantee from the National Blood Centre for blood donors and their nominees
- Letter of guarantee from your employer/ insurance company certifying that your bill will be settled
If you are currently taking any medication, please bring them along to show the specialist(s) so that they have a better understanding of your health.
Q. What do I bring for my subsequent appointments?
- Appointment Card
- Any form for further investigation(s) ordered, that may have been given to you during your earlier visit.

Q. Which Doctor will I See?
A. Subsidised patients will receive team-based care led by an assigned specialist. Non-subsidised patients will receive team-based care led by their choice of specialist. Please be assured that patients receive the same quality of care regardless of their subsidy status.
Q. How long will my visit take?
A. The time for your visit may take an hour or up to three hours. This is because patients ahead of you may have complex conditions and/or if doctors are called to attend to emergencies in the operating theatres or wards. You may have to wait for the results of your scans or tests to facilitate further medical advice.

A. KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital is situated at the junction of Bukit Timah and Kampong Java Roads. Only 5 minutes from Singapore’s Central Business District (CBD), the hospital is easily accessible via major expressways linked to different parts of Singapore.
