Being diagnosed with cancer at this age is extremely devastating and distressing. Not only do they have to go through gruelling treatment, they are also left with huge psychosocial distresses. It also comes with the attendant concerns of a relapse and treatment-related toxicities. Their survival outcomes have not been on par with the rest of the cancer population, and there are multiple gaps in their care that should be bridged. We hope to be able to spread awareness and share knowledge, all with the aim of improving AYAO outcomes. 'Empower Your Future” aims to engage local and foreign experts in this area to share their experiences in caring for this special group of patients.
