Goh Foundation

Established in 2019 through the generous support of Goh Foundation, the Teo Sok Yong and Goh Cheng Liang Childhood Cancer Programme represents a significant advancement in paediatric oncology care and research.

The Teo Sok Yong and Goh Cheng Liang Childhood Cancer Lab @ KKH became fully operational in November 2021, serving as a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to processing and developing haematopoietic stem cell products for clinical use. The laboratory provides comprehensive support for ongoing monitoring of cell therapy recipients and Chimeric Antigen Receptor-T cell (CAR-T) treatments through sophisticated laboratory-based assays. In pursuit of excellence, the programme is working towards accreditation with the Foundation for Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT), which establishes the global standard for quality patient care in cellular therapies. This accreditation will further cement our commitment to delivering world-class treatment standards.

The Teo Sok Yong and Goh Cheng Liang Childhood Cancer Lab @ Academia focuses on fundamental scientific investigations, conducting basic science research that generates preclinical and correlative studies with immediate translational applications for clinical practice. This dual approach ensures that laboratory discoveries can be rapidly translated into improved patient care.

Since 2019, Goh Foundation has demonstrated unwavering commitment to advancing childhood cancer care through sustained support of the Childhood Cancer Programme. This vital partnership has enabled continuous development of clinical services, research initiatives, and programme capabilities, reinforcing our shared vision to improve outcomes and enhance quality of life for children facing cancer.
