Dr Derek Choong is an accredited Family Physician and Associate Consultant in SingHealth Polyclinics (SHP). He currently holds the appointment of Deputy Clinic Director, Tampines North Polyclinic.
Dr Choong is a member of the SHP Musculoskeletal Workgroup and the clinician lead for Osteoporosis in SingHealth Polyclinics, overseeing the development of clinical guidelines and workflows to improve osteoporosis management in primary care. He was awarded the Young Investigator’s Award at the Asian Federation of Osteoporosis Societies conference in 2022.
He is also actively involved in clinical education for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Family Medicine.
