Profile

Dr Michelle Lim Hui Ping is currently a Consultant in the Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit, Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

She graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Singapore with the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2009 and went on to attain her Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in London, UK in 2014.

Dr Lim specializes in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries. She performs procedures such as ovarian cystectomy (removal of ovarian cyst), myomectomy (removal of uterine fibroid), hysterectomy (removal of uterus) and is also certified to perform Level 3 Minimally Invasive Surgery for complex gynaecological conditions.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Lim is actively involved in the surgical training of her junior colleagues and has been involved as a trainer in several surgical workshops. She also holds the appointment of clinical educator and examiner to medical students at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Duke-NUS Medical School as well as Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.

Dr Lim has several publications in peer-reviewed journals and has contributed to published book chapters.

Dr Lim puts her patients' care and expectations at the core of her counseling and management and has received several awards for providing quality healthcare service.
