Organiser:Department of Psychological Medicine, KKH

Journey.Arts is the first public art exhibition that heART is holding to celebrate the 5th anniversary.

For many, discovering that you have cancer is a turning point in life. Each cancer journey is unique, even as conditions are similar in that they are potentially life-threatening. Coping with cancer is therefore akin to riding a roller coaster, triggering varying degrees of emotions that are often hard for the patient to express in words. It is through paintings that our women cancer survivors find solace and a mode of expression; to share their personal stories of adjusting to and living with cancer. Journeys may differ, but they found one thing in common - hope, joy and comfort in art.

We hope the stories in their paintings will inspire you. Believe that cancer is not the end. It is only a part of life’s journey. Find strength to fight the adversities in life - just as our women cancer warriors have.

Join us at this exhibition with family and friends.
