Synopsis:

Expressions by heART. Featuring the ceramic work of the art-making support group for cancer survivors from KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

These works were created by members of the heART programme. This programme aims to enhance the holistic care of cancer survivors at the KK Woman’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) through creative arts.

Hazel Wong, a ceramic muralist and educator, brought the participants through a 20 hour ceramic sculpture programme. The participants explored various hand-building techniques such as pinching, slabwork and coiling, to create a series of sculptures reflecting their personal journeys.

The exhibition is supported by the National Arts Council and Goodman Ceramic Studio
