18th Singapore International Stroke Conference

We are pleased to announce that the 18th Singapore International Stroke Conference will take place from 25 to 27 March 2021. Organised by the National Neuroscience Institute, the Singapore International Stroke Conference has a long history as one of the largest academic stroke meetings in Southeast Asia.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this will be a virtual meeting, however the programme will still be informative and interactive. As one of very few regional stroke conferences to take place during the pandemic, we are confident of large participation from local and overseas doctors, nurses, scientists and allied health professionals.

The theme of the conference is "Building Bridges for Stroke Care". It reflects the need for collaboration to strengthen bridges between different professional groups caring for stroke patients, between the basic sciences and clinical care, as well as between the different stages of a stroke patient’s journey. These stages include Hyperacute, Acute, Step Down for aftercare, Rehabilitation, Support Group’s aid and Life After Stroke. The conference will include the latest advances in care at different stages as well as stroke issues relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.
