"I am part of a group of nurses who started our careers in 1968.  We are a rather small group – only 52 of us graduated in 1971, out of an intake of 71 students.  Over the years, some of us got married and became full time homemakers.  Most of us moved on to other specialties in nursing and joined other hospitals.  Quite a few of us hold leadership positions in nursing too! It is a great source of pride for our little group.

Even though it has been 47 years since we first embarked on this journey together, we still keep in touch. One is super energetic, and has been our organizer and coordinator for the annual reunions and gatherings through the past few decades I am thankful that we still meet up to foster our friendships and share stories from our lives."
