Profile

Dr Han How Chuan is a Senior Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a special interest in Urogynaecology. Prof Han was trained in 1997 under Prof Stuart Stanton (London) in urogynaecology and pelvic floor reconstruction and specializes in female urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse surgeries.

Prof Han's research interests lie in pelvic floor reconstructive surgery, female stress urinary incontinence surgery and medical treatment for overactive bladder. He has conducted numerous clinical studies on incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, and has written medical journals and reviews on the topics. He has presented many posters and oral presentations at international conferences. Through the years, he has authored and co-authored books in the same discipline.

Prof Han is a Teaching Professor at the 3 medical schools in Singapore: Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and a Clinical Physician Faculty Member for the SingHealth Obstetrics & Gynaecology Residency.
