Profile

Dr See Qin Yong is a Consultant with the Department of Care & Health Integration and Head of the Acute and Rehabilitative Care at Home (ARCH) Service at Changi General Hospital (CGH). As the Head of ARCH, Dr See is advocates home-based care over hospitalisation and works with a multi-disciplinary care team to provide home-based care. Since 2022, he has been actively involved in the development of the Mobile Inpatient Care at Home (MIC@Home) programme, an MOH initiative that offers hospital-quality care to eligible patients in the comfort of their homes. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr See set up the Covid@Home service that monitors patients at home instead of the hospital.

Actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, Dr See holds adjunct teaching faculty positions at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and Duke-NUS Medical School. His contributions to medical education have been recognised with multiple awards, including CGH Best Educator Award (The Prodigy) in 2021 and the College Teachers’ Award from the College of Family Physicians Singapore in 2023. As a member of the CGH Interprofessional Education committee, Dr See is a strong advocate for multi-disciplinary collaboration.

Dr See is also passionate about research, focusing on patients with complex needs. His research findings addressing healthcare challenges have been showcased at international conferences such as the World Hospital at Home Congress 2023 and the International Conference on Integrated Care 2023. Dr See also serves as a peer reviewer for Singapore Medical Journal, contributing to the academic community.
