Adj Asst Prof Yeo Yen Ching is a Histopathologist and Cytologist with an interest in Gynecological Pathology, Gynecological Cytology and Non-Gynecological Cytopathology. She has previously trained and worked in the West Midlands Pathology Rotation Scheme, and worked as a Full Time Consultant with a specialist interest in Gynaecological Pathology, Head/Neck Pathology and Cytology at the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire, a tertiary referral centre for the West Midlands. She was the Clinical Lead in Cytology and Gynaepathology in her department.
She is also passionate about education and is heavily involved in undergraduate, postgraduate and medical technologist teaching.
Having relocated back home to Singapore 5 years ago and joined a dynamic and forward thinking Pathology Department in the KK Women's and Children's Hospital, her next steps are not only to continue working with this patient centred team, but to also to work at the management and committee levels to further improve the clinical care afforded to patients at the departmental, hospital and cluster level.
