Dr Yoon Peng Soon is currently a Senior Consultant Geriatrician in the Department of Geriatric Medicine at Changi General Hospital (CGH).

Dr Yoon graduated in 2000 from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur and obtained his MRCP (United Kingdom) in 2006. He was a specialist in the Medical Department in Teluk Intan Hospital in Perak, Malaysia, before starting work in Singapore in 2007 as a registrar. He completed the Advanced Specialist Training (AST) in Geriatric Medicine and obtained specialist accreditation in Geriatric Medicine in 2011.

As an Adjunct Assistant Professor, Dr Yoon teaches medical students and is an examiner for the Department of Medicine at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS). He is involved in the teaching of residents as Clinical Physician Faculty Member in the SingHealth Senior Residency Program for Geriatric Medicine. He is also a Clinical Core Faculty member of the Geriatric Medicine Senior Residents programme, and examiner for the Singapore Geriatric Medicine exit examination.
