Mother:
8 mL ACD blood and
5 mL plain blood

Father:
16 mL ACD and/or
1-2 mL neonate/cord blood if Father’s blood unavailable

Please discuss with BSG transfusion medicine physician (Tel: 6213 0632) before ordering this test.
Bloods are to be collected between Monday to Wednesday only. Phlebotomist's name and signature must be provided on the attached tube label and the test request form.

Specimen Storage / Transport

Specimen has to be stored and transported at room temperature within 24 hours of collection.
