Joint Gynaecological Pathology Conference (15 to 16 November 2019)

Conference for Healthcare Professionals

Welcome Message from the Organising Committee

Dear esteemed colleagues and friends,

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Joint Gynaecological Pathology Conference 2019, organised by KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, in partnership with the British Association of Gynaecological Pathologists (BAGP), to be held in Singapore on 15 and 16 November 2019.

This is an interactive conference comprising lectures in conjunction with case-based discussions and practical guides to reporting female genital tract cancers. We will cover updates and diagnostic pitfalls on a comprehensive range of female genital tract malignancies including cervical carcinomas, mesenchymal uterine tumours, ovarian and vulval tumours and dermatoses. There will also be sessions on the handling of sentinel lymph nodes in female genital tract carcinoma, Lynch Syndrome screening, p53 use and interpretation, update on trophoblastic disease and IsGyP guidelines on endometrial carcinomas. Digital handouts and slides will be available online for a limited period, during and after the event. Delegates are invited to submit posters on topics relevant to Gynaecological Pathology.

The conference promises to deliver an exciting and highly educational programme for all attendees and we are honoured to have renowned and esteemed international and local speakers sharing their experience and knowledge with us. Our current panel of luminary speakers include Prof Glenn McCluggage, a very prominent and internationally respected gynaecological pathologist with an extremely busy referral practice. This conference is highly recommended for all pathologists and healthcare professionals, especially those with an interest in Gynaepathology.

We are proud to host and welcome everyone to Singapore, a vibrant metropolis with a rich multicultural heritage. Truly a city that never sleeps! It boasts of many traditional and world-class attractions including the newly opened Jewel Changi Airport and the Singapore Botanic Gardens which is a UNESCO world heritage site. Not to be missed are also the huge array of international cuisines which beckon tourists to visit this tropical island repeatedly. We do warmly invite you to mark your calendar and save the dates to join us for an enriching and fulfilling time in Singapore!
