DONATIONS IN KIND

At KKH, we put patients at the heart of everything we do. Thank you for joining us in the endeavor and wanting to put a smile on our patients’ faces.

If you are considering donating items or care packages for KKH patients, here is some information you may find useful:

Suggested items suitable for young patients

Age group	Age-appropriate TOYS / ACTIVITY KITS	Age-appropriate BOOKS
6 months – 3 years	Rattles, light up toys, toy cars/ toy animals, balls	Board books, books with textures/ mirrors, lift the flaps, music buttons etc.
4 – 6 years	Simple craft kits, simple building kits, puzzle boards, coloring book and stationery, sticker book, simple games	Story books with stickers/ activities within
7 – 10 years	Science kits, activity books (word search, riddles etc.), coloring kits, molding clay kits, games etc.	Story books about mystery/ adventure/ fantasy, anime comics (preferably not crime/ horror)
11 – 16 years	Science kits, activity books (word search, riddles etc.), coloring kits, molding clay kits, games etc.	Story books about mystery/ adventure/ fantasy, anime comics (preferably not crime/ horror)

For the health and safety of our patients, we are unable to accept the following:

Used or secondhand items
Food or drink items
Furry toys
Toys with sharp edges
Toys with small parts (for patients 3 years and below)
Items with toxic paint
Toys shaped like a weapon (e.g. sword, knife, gun)

If giving a care package, each package must be wrapped (a simple plastic wrapping is sufficient) and labelled with the corresponding age group it is appropriate for.

Please note that distribution of the items to patients will be done by the nurses in the wards.
