About Doctor

Dr Kaung Htet Win is a Staff Registrar in the Department of Child Development at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH), Singapore. He brings over 10 years of experience in the field of Paediatrics.

Dr Win is an MBBS graduate from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (2014). He has since accumulated broad clinical experience across Neonatology, Paediatric Medicine, Paediatric Surgery, and Paediatric Orthopaedics at KKH, NUH, and SGH. He was awarded the Master of Medicine in Paediatrics (MMed Paeds, Singapore) and the Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH, UK) in 2022.

Dr Win also an active volunteer and mentor, supporting junior doctors and medical students within KKH since 2020. Beyond clinical work, he served as President of the Lions Club of Singapore Sentosa Charter (2019–2022) and as District Chair for Childhood Cancer (2022–2023), earning Bronze and Silver prizes for community contributions.

Dr Win has a special interest in working with children with neurodevelopmental and developmental concerns. His practice encompasses the evaluation and early intervention of pre-school children presenting with developmental delays, behavioural and emotional difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, speech and language delays, and learning difficulties. Drawing on his broad paediatric background across neonatology, general paediatrics, paediatric surgery, and orthopaedics, he takes a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to child development — recognising that many children present with overlapping medical and developmental needs. He is committed to supporting families through the diagnostic journey and works closely with allied health professionals including therapists, psychologists, and medical social workers to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for each child.
