About

Dr Su Ann has been working in the department of emergency medicine, KKH since 2015. She obtained her medical degree in Malaysia and served as a house and medical officer for 7 years before coming to Singapore.

Beyond paediatric emergency medicine, she is passionate about health professions education, particularly in the field of feedback, education research and scholarship, interprofessional education- collaboration (IPE/ IPC) as well as communication. She is actively leading and facilitating various education programmes as well as initiatives within the department, institution and cluster level, for residents, medical officers, nurses, allied health professionals and medical students.

As a lifelong learner, she has completed the Fellowship in Team Based Learning (FTBL) with Academic Medicine Education Institute (AMEI) in 2021, the Virtual Interprofessional Learning and Collaboration (VITAL) in 2022, and the Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Executive certificate with DUKE-NUS in 2023. She is a recipient of the KKH Formal Education Sponsorship Programme and is currently pursuing Master of Medical Education. She also completed the Mentorship for the Development of Education Researchers (MIDAS) programme organised by AMEI/CHERS, and now facilitates qualitative research workshops, while participating actively in collaborative education research and scholarship.
