Dr Yip Wai Yan

Dr Yip Wai Yan is a senior consultant in the Department of Neonatology an KKH. She received her specialist training in paediatrics and neonatology in Singapore. She provides both inpatient and outpatient care for newborn babies. She leads the implementation of funded programmes (music therapy, cuddler) to improve developmental care in high-risk infants. In addition to clinical services, she teaches medical students from the 3 medical schools in Singapore, junior doctors and nurses, as well as provide interhospital training in newborn resuscitation and stabilisation for transport. She has also been involved in voluntary regional training programmes in emergency paediatric and neonatal care.
