Dr Ng Yong Hong completed her medical undergraduate education in 1999 and joined the Department of Paediatrics in May 2002 and then the Nephrology Service in 2007 following the completion of her training in General Paediatrics. She is currently Head of the Nephrology Service and Department of Paediatrics. Her research interests are in nephritis and urinary tract infection. Dr Ng is also actively involved in medical education. Her educational portfolios included Training Director of the Paediatric Program (2011-2017), Associate Program Director (Senior Residency) (2013-2017) and core faculty for the SingHealth Pediatrics Residency program (current). She is also the Academic Vice-Chair (Clinical) of the Paediatrics Academic Clinical Program (ACP).
