Description
Department of Neonatology is divided into Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with 24 cots and Special Care Nursery (SCN) with 60 cots. NICU admits level 3 babies whilst SCN admits level 2 babies.
Duration
Duration | Description |
Three months | The attachment provide the nurse with opportunities to gain knowledge and skills in the current nursing practice and services as well as clinical hands-on in Neonatal Intensive Nursing. The experience will enable the nurse to plan and manage a similar unit in her country. |
