Updates in Clinical Dietetics
Objective
To provide an opportunity for Dietitians to be updated on clinical practices in infant, paediatric and women's nutrition.
Course Contents
The course can be customized to suit the requirements of the participant. Topics can be selected from the following areas:
In the course of the attachment, participants will also be updated on infant and growing up milk formulas, medical nutritional products, and dietetic foods.

Clinical Attachment in Dietetics
To provide an opportunity for nutrition and dietetics students to understand the range of dietetics services offered in a women’s and children’s hospital and to gain knowledge of the skills required in the profession.
Observations, case studies, project work
Students pursuing a BSc or MSc degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or Dietetics
Completed 1st year of their BSc or MSc programme in Nutrition and Dietetics or Dietetics
2 Weeks
February and September. Written application is required at least 2 months in advance.
Positions/Training Places
1 - 2 per year
$400 per week per participant
Observational Attachment
To provide an opportunity for people considering a career in Dietetics to gain an understanding of the role of a dietitian in a hospital setting.
Gain exposure to the work of dietitians with regards to the nutritional management of infants, children and women in inpatient and outpatient settings.
