Overview

This symposium aims to showcase the current best practice in the diagnosis, evaluation and management of children and adolescents with arterial ischemic stroke and cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. A key focus of the programme is the rapid identification of patients with large cerebral vessel occlusion and the use of endovascular therapy and thrombectomy. There will also be focused sessions on neurorehabilitation and case-based discussions with sharing of institutional experiences in paediatric stroke management.
