Toddler Feeding Workshop

Workshop

Overview

Feeding your child can be enjoyable and a great time to bond! Good eating habits are also best cultivated from an early age, with healthy eating preferences remaining with your child into adulthood.

Parents often worry if their children are picky eaters, whether they are eating enough, what they eat – or don’t eat, and about meeting nutritional needs for healthy growth and development.

Come join us for this informative and practical session with KKH’s dietitian and speech therapist, as they share strategies for stress-free mealtimes.

Programme Highlights:

  • Identify red flags in feeding: what is normal?
  • Learn what and how much to feed: the right proportion for your growing child
  • Recognise common feeding-related concerns eg. fussy eating, refusing to eat vegetables, transitioning from milk to solid food, weight-related issues such as being overweight or underweight
  • Understand the factors that influence feeding
  • Know the common feeding mistakes and how to avoid them
  • Find out where to get help when you encounter challenges in feeding
