A healthy meal plan during pregnancy is encouraged for all women, especially if you have been diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM). GDM is when you develop high blood glucose (sugar) level during pregnancy. Managing what and how much you eat during your pregnancy will help you to keep your blood glucose (sugar) level from being too high and lead to other complications.

After you have watched the videos, you will need to schedule an appointment with a dietitian, who will go through an individualised meal plan with you.
Please obtain the password from your dietitian to download the GDM Booklet for reference.
If you do not have a dietitian appointment yet, please obtain a referral to see a dietitian from your doctor at KKH and you may contact the Nutrition & Dietetics Department at 6394 1641 or diet@kkh.com.sg to arrange an appointment.
