Specimen Requirement	Whole blood EDTA 3 mL Specimen is not to be collected on Friday after 2pm, Saturday, Sunday, eve of public holidays and public holidays.
Specimen Storage/Transport	Keep specimen at room temperature. DO NOT send on ice or refrigerant. Despatch to KKH DPLM Client Services as soon as possible as blood must reach NUH Paediatric Allergy & Immunology Lab before 5pm. If specimen cannot be transported within same day of collection, to spin and separate the plasma and store at 4°C before the next transport is available.
