The Department of Women’s Anaesthesia provides comprehensive anaesthesia, pain management and intensive care services to women who undergo elective and emergency surgery, as well as, pain management during labour and delivery.
The pre-anaesthetic clinic provides consultation and counselling to prepare patients for their scheduled surgical procedure. The department also provides epidural pain relief to women in labour pain and acute pain services after surgery.
The department provides academic and educational training in Women's and Obstetric Anaesthesia Fellowship. For more information on the fellowship, click here.
