Welcome to the Youth Well-Being webpage!

Adolescence can be a challenging time. It is normal to experience distressing emotions and struggles, which may in turn affect a young person’s physical health. This website hopes to provide some resources to help the young person navigate these difficulties and develop the skills to thrive.

Our multidisciplinary team looking after adolescents at KKH believes that being healthy requires attention to all aspects of a young person’s life, including physical health, social relationships, and mental well-being. We understand that seeking help can seem difficult and scary, and we want to make it as easy as possible.

Information and resources which may be found on this website include topics which the young person may find useful, such as stress management, healthy habits, coping skills for exam stress, peer pressure, family conflicts, guidance on building healthy relationships, self-esteem and mental well-being.

We hope that you will find the content helpful, and feel encouraged to reach out if you need further support. Remember, you are not alone and seeking help is a sign of strength!
