Visiting Guidelines

  1. All visitors to the ward are required to register before they enter.
  2. Keep visits short as our patients need sufficient rest to recover.
  3. Visitors who are unwell and children under 12 years old should refrain from visiting due to risk of infection.
  4. Be considerate and keep the noise levels down. Noise is a source of stress that can interrupt patients’ sleep and recovery.
  5. Refrain from eating by the patients’ bedside to reduce infection, and to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
  6. Visitors must practice hand hygiene to minimise infection when they are in the ward. Wash your hands with soap and water, or sanitise them with alcohol rub before and after visiting the patient.
  7. Smoking or drinking alcohol is not allowed on hospital premises.
  8. To prevent a breach of or compromise of privacy, confidentiality, security and safety of patients, staff, students, associates, visitors and/or the institution, unauthorised photography and/or audio/video recording using any device is prohibited within KKH premises.
