Dr Khoo Su Ann is currently a Staff Physician in Children’s Emergency department, KK Women's and Children's Hospital. She joined the department since 2 January 2015 as a Clinical Associate, and passed her MRCPCH/ MMed (Paeds) exam at October 2016, in Singapore. In the field of children emergency, she is interested in paediatric resuscitation and evidence-based emergency practice.
Her main interest is in the Clinical as well as in the field of Medical Education; particularly in the field of education research, teaching and learning in small or large groups, as well as workplace-based assessment. She is currently pursuing a Certification of Health Professions Medical Education with the Centre of Medical Education (CenMed), National University of Singapore. She is a member of the AM.EI (Academic Medicine Education Institute) since 2017, and was appointed as Clinical Tutor for Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, as well as Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. She is actively involved in various education programmes and education project presentations for the department, at both local and international level. Besides medical students, she is also involved in the teaching of new medical officers, residents and resident physicians via the core training programme and department teaching programmes.
