Dr Pamela Chia is currently a Consultant at the Department of Women’s Anaesthesia, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH), Clinical Instructor at Duke-NUS Medical School, Clinical Senior Lecturer at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Clinical Physician Faculty Member at Singhealth Anaesthesiology Residency Programme. She specialises in providing pain management during childbirth and anaesthesia for caesarean deliveries and gynaecology surgeries. After graduating from the University of Newcastle, Australia in 2010, she pursued anaesthesiology training in SingHealth Anaesthesiology Residency Programme, completing her training in 2021. She has a keen interest in sustainability in anaesthesia and simulation-based medical education. Her research interests includes interprofessional collaborative practice and healthcare simulation debriefing, with several education grants awarded to support her work in these areas.
