Profile

Dr Vicknesan is Senior Consultant Psychiatrist and Head of Child and Adolescent Mental Wellness Service, Department of Psychological Medicine, KK Women's and Children's Hospital. He is also Adjunct Assistant Professor, Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School. He has a broad range experience of treating children and adolescents with mental health disorders. His areas of clinical interest include the following: mood disorders, self-harm, suicidality, tic disorders, somatoform disorders and family therapy. He has an interest in qualitative methods of research and have conducted research in self-harm, suicidality and mood disorders.
