Dr Lynette Wee is a board certified Paediatrician at KK Women's and Children's Hospital and went on to train in Paediatric Dermatology.
She graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2010. She obtained her MRCPCH (UK) and MMED (Paeds) in 2012 and completed her paediatric training in KKH in 2017. She subsequently obtained her Diploma in Dermatology in 2015 from Cardiff University, United Kingdom and trained in paediatric dermatology under Professor Mark Koh Jean Aan.
She has a keen interest in atopic dermatitis, complex vascular anomalies, genetic skin disorders, histiocytic disorders and inpatient paediatric dermatology. She believes in helping her young patients reach their full potential through anticipatory guidance and education to enable them and their caregivers understand and manage their skin condition better.
She also aspires to improve the paediatric dermatology knowledge locally through continued departmental education outreach, as well as around the region through webinars and activities conducted by the Asian society of Pediatric Dermatology (ASPD). She is also the treasurer in the rare skin conditions society (RSCS) Singapore and is passionate about promoting awareness of rare skin conditions, and provide support for these patients who may require costly long-term medical care.
