About

Dr Tan Yin Ru is an Associate Consultant with the Department of Urogynaecology, KK Women's and Children's Hospital. She graduated from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, in 2016. She obtained her Master of Medicine (MMed O&G, Singapore) and was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG, UK) in 2021. Dr Tan received her Specialist accreditation from the Singapore Medical Council in 2024 after completing her Obstetrics and Gynaecology residency with the SingHealth Obstetrics and Gynaecology Residency Program.

Dr Tan has a special interest in Urogynaecology. In addition to clinical practice, Dr Tan is actively involved in education and research. She was the Chief Resident (Education) in 2020, and regularly engages in teaching activities for medical students from all three medical schools. She has also presented at international conferences and published in various international journals.
