About Doctor

Dr Celeste Yap Jia Ying is a consultant in Paediatric Nephrology and Clinical Assistant Professor at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Duke-NUS Medical School. She completed her medical undergraduate education in 2012 and underwent Paediatric Residency training in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Singapore General Hospital. She subsequently completed her Advanced Specialist Training in Paediatric Nephrology in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and National University of Singapore. She has been with the Paediatric Nephrology service since 2021.

Her research interests are in renogenetics, precision nephrology and clinical implementation of genomic testing in renal diseases. She is also passionate and actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
