About Doctor

Dr Khoo has been working in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore (KKH) since 1997, upon returning from the UK, where she did her undergraduate and postgraduate Paediatric training. She is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Neonatology, KKH since November 2006 and Head of Service, Neonatal Ambulatory Team since August 2012 and was Deputy Head of the Department of Neonatology (2017 – 2025).

She is Co-Chair of KKH’s Singhealth Patient Advocacy Network (SPAN)

Dr Khoo runs the Preterm Very Low Birth Weight (VLBW) Infant Follow Up Programme and is also Director of the Universal Newborn Hearing Screening Programme in KKH. She is actively involved in managing and maintaining KKH’s participation in the Vermont Oxford Network (VON) database, which is an international database of Premature VLBW Infants. She is advisor to the Early Bird Baby Club (Parent Support Group for the Premature Very Low Birth Weight Infants) in KKH.

She is an active member of Singapore’s Paediatric/Perinatal Fraternity. She is the current Chair of the Chapter of Neonatology (Year 2024-2026) under the College of Paediatrics and Child Health, Singapore and is in the executive council of the Perinatal Society of Singapore and Singapore Paediatric Society.

She is Co-Chair of KKH’s Singhealth Patient Advocacy Network (SPAN) and is a certified Esther Coach.
