Dr Loh Wenyin is a Senior Consultant with the Allergy Service at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and has a special interest in food allergy, allergen immunotherapy and allergic gastrointestinal diseases. She is actively involved in the development of hospital protocols for the evaluation and management of paediatric allergic diseases, including oral immunotherapy for food allergy. As a leading member of the multidisciplinary teams that manage eczema and eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders, she has extensive experience in managing and coordinating care of complex allergic disorders. She also plays a key role in promoting food allergy awareness in schools as the program director of the KKH Childhood Food Allergy & Asthma training program since 2015. She completed a research fellowship at Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (Melbourne, Australia), focusing on oral immunotherapy in children with peanut allergy as well as a postgraduate certificate in allergy with Imperial College London (UK).
