Dr Khawn graduated from University of Medicine (1), Myanmar in 1995 with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). She was trained in Paediatrics and obtained Master of Medical Science (Paediatrics) from University of Medicine, Mandalay, Myanmar in 2002. She started working in Paediatric Haematology/Oncology, KK Women’s and Children’s hospital, Singapore in May 2010. Later on, she received Diploma in paediatric cancer care in March 2013. She obtained Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) in 2018. Currently, she is working as a Staff Physician.
