Workshops which comprised of didactic lectures and interactive simulation drills focusing on major causes of maternal mortality in Cambodia, including postpartum haemorrhage, pre-eclampsia and maternal collapse were conducted to health attendants and midwives in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia.
Promising participants were identified and developed as Master Trainers which enabled them to independently conduct future training sessions for local healthcare workers and midwives.

November 2025 saw the successful completion of Enhancing Maternal and Child Health Services Phase 2 in Tamil Nadu, India. This phase of the project follows a Training-of-Trainers (TOT) framework, where specialist Singapore International Volunteers (SIVs) from KKH and SingHealth Polyclinics conduct workshops for local Maternal and Child Health professionals in Tamil Nadu. The training is multidisciplinary, focusing on both content and pedagogy, with master trainers from tertiary and secondary hospitals co-training alongside SIVs during sessions with trainees from primary health centres. The key components include: TOT Workshops, Technical Assistance for Model Labour Wards and Protocols Review.
KKH conducted an outreach visit to Port Moresby General Hospital focused on building capability in minimally invasive surgery (MIS), paediatric surgery, and anaesthesia. The team provided surgical care for underserved children, delivered training for local clinicians, and donated medical supplies.Over the one-week visit, patients were treated, surgeries performed, and educational sessions conducted to support skills transfer and sustainable capacity building.
