Additional Information	Please order this test for other indications, including acute infectious mononucleosis, post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder (PTLD), and EBV viraemia, etc. This test will be carried out on whole blood (including plasma and white blood cells), which is the appropriate component of blood to be tested for these indications, offering greater diagnostic sensitivities^1,2. For all manual forms, please clearly state diagnosis and which test is required (plasma or whole blood). Otherwise, the default assay of EBV quantitative PCR (plasma) will be run.
