| Specimen Requirement |
1) Urine (first catch) 1 - 10 mL Patient must not have urinated within the past 1 hour. 2) Genital swabs After swabbing the genital sites, the flocked swab should be re-sheathed and sent to the laboratory. 3) Genital swabs collected for CTNG test A single Cobas PCR media tube (yellow cap) can be used for both CTNG test and the STI 5-plex test. |
