Specimen Container	EDTA tube
Specimen Requirement	3-5 ml of blood in EDTA (purple top) tubes (at least 2 fully-filled tubes).
Specimen Storage/Transport	Send sample with an ice pack to laboratory. Refrigerate sample at 2-8°C until transfer to SGH laboratory. Do not freeze. Sample should reach the laboratory as soon as possible preferably within 24 hours after collection.
